Every server purchase includes a 90-day standard warranty. We also offer extended protection plans to suit your long-term needs:

What is Covered?
We warrant that covered refurbished servers and components will be free from electrical and mechanical failures under normal use. If a part fails during regular operation, we will ship a replacement promptly. Covered components include, but are not limited to:

Motherboards and CPUs
-
RAM modules
-
Power Supply Units (PSUs)

Fans and Cooling assemblies
-
RAID controllers and Storage backplanes
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty is designed to protect against natural hardware failure. It does not cover damage resulting from external factors or improper handling, including:

Environmental Damage: Damage caused by electrical surges, fire, water, or lightning.

Physical Abuse: Accidental drops, crushed chassis, or broken connectors.

Installation Errors: Damage caused by the user during upgrades or maintenance (e.g., damaging a CPU socket during installation or using incompatible RAM that causes a motherboard short).

Modifications: Any product modified contrary to manufacturer specifications or disassembled beyond standard user-serviceable parts.

Software & Data: We do not warrant software, OS stability, or data integrity.
Limitation of Liability
UsedServers.ca is not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or recovery costs. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to business interruption, loss of profits, or "down-time" costs resulting from faulty equipment. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product.
Return Materials Authorization (RMA) Procedure
To initiate a claim, the Buyer must:

Submit a Claim: Lodge an RMA request via our website or email within the warranty period.

Verification: Provide a clear copy of the invoice and a description of the failure (including part numbers).

Shipping: Once approved, properly package and return the defective part. UsedServers.ca will cover the cost of shipping replacement parts to the Buyer’s facilities within Canada.
Governing Law
This warranty and all sales shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec.
